Hi, it’s me Melissa. 

Welcome to my world. 

I create ideas and craft stories that connect people to brands in meaningful ways.  

The work you see here is an accumulation of many years as a staff and freelance Creative Director, Copywriter and Consultant at agencies large and small, clients established and start-ups, East coast and West - and plenty in between. 

My work inspires people to feel good about the products they use, the causes they support, and most importantly the way they see a bit of themselves in the stories we share.

From TV and 360 campaigns, to naming the colors of your favorite make-up, 
from outdoor for tech fashion to internal for a big bank, I’ve done that. 
From big international consumer brands to grassroots non-profits, I’ve been there. 
From traditional advertising and marketing, guerrilla and social, video production, editorial, brand strategies, proposals and presentations, I’ve done that too.   

I even launched my own purpose driven apparel brand, VoteWear, to drive voter registration and turnout and support organizations working in that space. 

It’s what I do.

I am a happy collaborator, a strong leader, an excellent manager, an insatiable idea maker, and a multi-faceted creator.  

When I’m not doing other stuff.

When I'm not busy finding the heartbeat of a brand, penning the perfect tag line or #, or pulling together the best team to execute your project, you’ll likely find me at sunset on my paddleboard, getting lost on a travel adventure, obsessively planning a volunteer project, rescuing a dog or 10, taking photos, conjuring a creative dream, or behind a giant bucket of popcorn in a dark movie theatre.
